Who we are

We are residents of Cambridge Street who care about the livability and safety of our community just like you.

The current 50km/h speed limit is far too fast for Cambridge Street.
Temporary traffic calming measures must be put in place until permanent solutions can be installed.
We believe that Cambridge Street should be upgraded from an "Informal Bike Route" to a protected bike route from Taylor Ave. to Wellington Cres.
The infrastructure of Cambridge Street must be changed to completely block through traffic at some point along Cambridge Street.
No amount of additional capacity on Stafford, Harrow, or Kenaston will deter traffic from also using Cambridge Street as a through route.
We want more cyclists and pedestrians and fewer cars using Cambridge Street.
Our entire community must come together and act to make changes possible.

Immediately install temporary signage and speed bumps on Cambridge Street.
As soon as possible, change the speed limit to 30km/h on Cambridge street from Corydon to Wellington.
Build a protected bike path along Cambridge Street from Taylor to Wellington.
Make Cambridge Street one way northbound (with parking on the west side) from Corydon to Grosvenor.
Make Cambridge Street one way southbound (with parking on the west side) from Academy to Grosvenor.
